The TRUFA Decolonization, Reconciliation, and Indigenization Standing Committee is open to all TRU faculty, staff, students, and community members interested in learning about, or contributing towards, DRIC teaching, research or service based initiatives. Broadly, these interdisciplinary initiatives are related to TRU’s implementation of Indigenous goals, objectives and policies with respect to the TRC Calls to Action, human rights instruments such as the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, and Section 35 of the Canadian Constitution.
