November 24 Update

This afternoon TRUFA representatives met with two TRU administration bargainers for 45 minutes. The tone was respectful and demonstrated that there are reasonable people in administration who have the ability and desire to make progress.

However, the strike vote conducted last week is a clear indication that TRUFA members want the administrative bargaining team to engage in productive bargaining.  This strong mandate has led the TRUFA bargaining team to insist that administration present substantive written responses to the bargaining package we presented on October 20th when the parties resume talks on Tuesday, December 1st.
