As a sessional instructor at TRU, would I be eligible for Paternity Leave?

The short answer is that a sessional faculty member is not eligible for parental leave. Leaves are addressed in Article 12, and parental leaves are specifically addressed in Article 12.4 (p.130). However, for a list of articles in the Collective Agreement that apply to sessional teaching faculty, please see the Index, on page 252. You will note that the only part of Article 12 that applies to session teaching faculty is Article 12.2.5 which deals with your vacation entitlement.
