The TRU Teaching Practices Colloquium Committee invites your proposals for presentations at the 11th annual Teaching Practices Colloquium to be held on Monday, February 16, 2015. The colloquium provides a forum for faculty to share scholarly teaching practices and approaches that foster effective learning in the post-secondary setting. This year, the Teaching Practices Colloquium focuses attention on the fun, the enjoyment, the sheer joy of teaching and learning. How do you kindle the learning atmosphere to inspire and encourage student learning? Recapture the high notes of your teaching experience with your colleagues through passionate seminars and heart-filled sessions designed to raise your spirits, offer up humour, and instill a fresh sense of purpose in the practical aspects of your teaching. Come share how you foster these ideals in your classroom and set aflame your students’ interest and involvement.
Please note that all presenters must register for the colloquium.
The TRU Faculty Association is a sponsor of this event.
